Building Update : Answering the Call

SLCC leadership is fully committed to answering God’s call to build our new church home! We are stepping out in faith and preparing for this exciting next chapter. A huge thank you to everyone who has already given and sacrificially supported the new building fund—we couldn't do this without you!

Looking Ahead:
We are moving forward with anticipation!

  • Site Work & Excavation: Potential to begin as early as this Fall
  • Construction Start: Potential to break ground in early Spring 2027 

Built Together

Just like LEGO bricks, we are designed to interlock in unity. Our new building will be a testament to what happens when everyone contributes their "piece" to the whole. Every person and every gift is a vital brick in the construction of our new church. When we connect, we create a space that is stronger, more vibrant and ready to serve our community for generations to come. 

Meet Our Teams

Our three committees - Building, Capital Campaign and Communications Teams have been giving their time, their energy, and their gifts to something so important for the future of our congregation. But we also know this — It's not just going to take a few groups to move this forward. It's going to take all of us!

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Romans 12:4-5
